We don’t often get snow in Ireland, and even when we do, it rarely sticks around for any length of time. We had some brief but intense snowstorms on this day and this photograph was taken during one of them. This particular tree is close to my heart as I grew up with it. As a child I climbed it, fell from it, hid behind it and sat under it. I’ve also photographed it in sunshine, rain, and fog, but I think this snow storm version is going to be my favourite!
